Is anti-bio beam good FTL?
In spite of this its a fun weapon, and a good way to get the scrap and fuel benefits of killing off enemy crews without the risk of a boarding party. Synergizes very well with fire beam and/or breach bombs for killing off crew.
Does anti-bio beam go through shields?
The Anti-Bio Beam can’t penetrate normal shields, but it does reduce the HP of a Zoltan shield. That’s why it’s always best to manually target it, for the moment the shields are down.

Anti-Bio Beam Deals half (30) damage to drones (including your boarding drones). Deals 1 point of damage twice against Zoltan shields. Must hit the TILE of the room a crew member is in to inflict damage. You don’t have to hit the crew member exactly, but merely hitting the room they’re in isn’t enough.

You must have vision of a unit in order to use Mind Control on them. Once you begin mind control you cannot turn it off or power it down until the effect ends. You can undo the effects of an enemy Mind Control with your own. You can use the Crew Teleporter to bring a controlled unit to your ship.
How do you stop fires in FTL?
It is possible to prevent fire from damaging your hull by launching a Small Bomb or Breach Bomb at the burning room. Destroying the system prevents the hull damage that would otherwise occur when the fire burns it down completely.

The Clone Bay reconstructs any killed crew members at XP loss, and restores a bit of HP to all crew members during FTL jumps or waiting. It can’t coexist with the Medbay on the same ship.
How do you vent FTL?
The most effective way is obviously by opening every door and turning off the oxygen system completely, however sometimes you may want to keep some rooms pressurized. For example, a non-drone boarder doing damage to the piloting system will leave the cockpit within 5 seconds if you vent the ship fully.
How do you open doors in FTL?
To open doors, just tap the door subsystem; the game will auto-pause (by default) and you’ll be able to toggle the doors by either tapping them, or dragging your finger over multiple doors. Then just click it.
How good is mind control FTL?
Mind Control is the most insanely overpowered system in FTL, especially when combined with a Crew Teleporter, for a wide variety of reasons. It allows you to easily dwindle down the enemy crew numbers over time with very little risk.
How do you use a cloak in FTL?
You can activate the cloaking when you see nasty incoming fire; missiles or enough fire to get through your shields. While cloaked, your weapons recharge but theirs don’t, so on top of dodging a nasty payload you can usually fire from cloak to get another strike in.
Does clone Bay heal FTL?
Healing. On FTL jump or during waiting, the Clone Bay will restore a fraction of health for all injured crew members using the partial-cloning technology, the exact HP amount depends on the system level. It does not need to be powered for this.
