Can I use the personal statement I wrote for a previous application again?
Yes by all means use the same personal statement that yiou used the first time around.
Do I need to rewrite my personal statement?
YES! It doesn’t matter why you didn’t get in last go round, or what you have done in the interim. If you don’t rewrite your PS, schools will notice. The first thing many schools do for reapplicants is pull their old AMCAS and compare the personal statement.
Can you reapply for uni?
There are no restrictions on reapplying to the same university or even the same course. In fact you may have a better chance of getting on to the same course again, as it demonstrates you are serious about the course and only dropped out due to unforeseen circumstances.
Can you apply to UCAS twice?
Can I only make one UCAS application a year? Yes. Duplicate applications will be detected and cancelled as part of the initial checking process conducted by UCAS.
Can I decline an offer after accepting it UCAS?
I’ve accepted an unconditional course change offer – can I decline this? Yes, you can decline this by clicking the ‘decline my place’ button.
What do I do if my UCAS application is unsuccessful?
An unsuccessful application means they’ve decided not to offer you a place on the course. Sometimes they’ll give a reason, either with their decision or at a later date. If not, you can contact them to ask if they’ll discuss the reason with you.
Can I change my course after accepting?
Although once you have accepted an offer you are committed to going to that university or college, it is by no means too late to change your programme of study.
Is it too late to change Unichoice?
University or college Within 14 days of the date on your welcome email you can swap the choice in Track. The 14 day period starts from the day you receive your email. However, you can’t swap a choice after 30 June. If you swap after the relevant deadline for your new course choice, it will be considered late.
Is migration possible from one university to another?
It’s sometimes possible to move straight from one university to another, usually in the first few weeks of your first year, or between years if the courses are similar enough. If you want to transfer during a year, you’ll need to get a confirmation from the new university to show to your current university.
Can you change your personal statement after paying?
You cannot amend your personal statement once it has been sent to UCAS. If you decide you want to change it, contact your university and college choices to ask if you can send them an amended version directly.
Can you use the same personal statement?
If there’s no prompt or guidelines, you can re-use the same idea for your personal statement – but change the details wherever relevant, making sure to emphasize why you’re applying to this specific program.
