Does Brandeis have supplemental essays?
If you’re working on your Brandeis University application, you might have noticed two important things: there is a writing supplement, and it’s optional. Your application will certainly be complete if you opt not to write the additional essay, but there are some students who should write it anyway.
Does Brandeis require Subject Tests?
While some colleges require that all applicants submit a number of SAT Subject Tests, Brandeis does not. However, Subject Tests can improve your candidacy and some of Brandeis’s departments may require SAT Subject Test scores in their area of study.

Does MIT accept SAT or ACT?
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology no longer plans to consider SAT subject scores in admissions, starting with the class that will enroll in fall 2021. MIT is the last college to require the tests for all applicants. MIT will still require students to take either the SAT or the ACT.
Can I get into Duke with a 3.5 GPA?
Earning a high GPA isn’t enough. As the Duke University statistics indicate, even those with a 3.5 GPA or better who don’t do well on the SAT/ACT have only about a four-percent chance of admission.
Can I get into Duke with a 3.6 GPA?
To be frank, gpa is the number one thing that colleges look at during application season, because what better a reflection of your abilities than a long record of grades. Unfortunately, a 3.6 is definitely below the 30th percentile for Duke and Cornell.
