How long does it take to hear back from Arts Ed?
The audition panel will review your video and, if successful, you will be invited to attend a 2nd Round audition at ArtsEd. We aim to get back to you with the panel’s decision within four weeks.
Is it hard to get into Tring Park school?
Entrance to the school is by one-day audition in dance, drama, and singing. The school is not academically selective and although an academic test is required for potential pupils below 16, it is used solely for streaming and placing students.
How old do you have to be to go to arts ed?
Applicants must be aged 18 or due to have turned 18 by the time the course commences. In addition, the following qualifications are normally required: Passes in two subjects at A-level or a BTEC ND. Passes in three subjects at GCSE or equivalent.
How do I get into ArtsEd?
We audition everyone who applies to ArtsEd throughout the year….On the audition day, everyone takes part in the following:
- ice-breaking sessions.
- vocational skills workshops.
- written tests in English and Maths.
- an individual audition.
- an interview with a senior member of staff (to which parents are invited)
Is ArtsEd private?
ArtsEd EXTRA offer private lessons with ArtsEd tutors in all three disciplines. These are currently available both face-to-face and online.
Is arts ed a conservatoire?
Today, Arts Educational Schools London is a co–educational Independent Day School and Sixth Form for pupils aged 11–18, and a professional conservatoire specialising in acting and musical theatre, as well as a range of part-time courses.
What age can you go to RADA?

I am under 18, can I apply to RADA? Candidates must be at least 18 by 1 September 2022 to apply for the BA (Hons) in Acting. We offer other opportunities for young people under 18 including Access and Participation projects, Shakespeare Awards and Short Courses.
