How do I check my UCAS track?
You can sign in to your Hub to check your application’s progress at any time. You’ll need the Personal ID given in your welcome email, along with the password you used when applying.
What is UCAS Tracker?
UCAS Track is an online system developed by UCAS that allows you to check the progress of your application once you’ve submitted it. For example, you can see whether any of your chosen universities/colleges have made you an offer, or if you have replied to any of your offers, etc.
Is UCAS track the same as UCAS?
If you’re applying to university then you’ll be very familiar with the UCAS website by now! One of the main features of the website is UCAS Track – a system created by UCAS that allows you to check the progress of your applications throughout the application process.
Can Unis see your other UCAS choices?
No, the same one is used by all applicants. Will my UCAS choices know if I choose to apply to universities elsewhere in the world? Your choices won’t know where you’ve chosen to apply outside the UK.
How do I find my 16 digit UCAS code?
- go into ucas track (this is only available if you’ve sent off your ucas)
- there’s a big yellow box saying “opening a student bank account?”
- in the bottom right of that box there is your 16 digit code.
Where can I find my UCAS Personal ID?
Personal ID or UCAS ID – the ten-digit number you get when you begin an application – displayed in 123-456-7890 format on every email we send you. You’ll be asked for this if you get in touch with our Customer Experience Centre. Note: This number is not generated until you start an application.
How long does it take UCAS Track to update?

What time will UCAS Track update?
around 8am
UCAS receives your A-level results directly and will update Track accordingly – typically around 8am. As the system will be busy with students keen to find out if they’ve received offers, you’ll need to be patient.
How often do UCAS update track?
If you have made your offer but it still hasn’t updated then you can relax – you made it! The page will update in the next few days. If your Track page hasn’t updated within two days, though, it is worth phoning the university to make sure everything is OK.
Do universities know what choice they are?
Universities will only know where else you’ve applied once they’ve made their decision and you’ve decided whether or not to accept them as your firm or insurance choice. But even then it won’t affect things.
Do I need a student bank account?
Is it worth getting a student bank account? Yes, if you’re a student and looking to open a new bank account, they can be a good option.
